It all started in 2004 when we developed a system that replaced debt collection agencies for Norwegian municipalities. Now over half of all Norwegian municipalities use the solution.
Kapitalkontroll is a Norwegian Fintech company that has challenged debt collection agencies and changed the market to a great extent. We have offered our solution to Norwegian companies since 2018, and in recent years have had enormous growth in the number of customers and cases in both Norway, Sweden and Denmark. In 2024, we established our first foreign subsidiary in Cyprus. In 2025, we were starting our European version of the system and already have one of Cyprus' largest companies as a customer. In 2026, plans are already in place to expand to several European countries, while we have the ambition to grow to over 10,000 customers in Norway.

Chairman and Founder - KapitalKontroll :
Espen Starheim has a Master of Science in Business & Administration and began his career at Arthur Andersen in 2000. Since then, Starheim has had great success as a founder of several companies that have been sold to both Norwegian and international players. Starheim has long and broad experience as chairman of several companies; EnviDan AS, Kommunesistemer AS, MomSys AS, Momentum Selvkost AS and Momentum Consulting AS.
Managing Director - KapitalKontroll:
Kristoffer Blom Årvik holds a Master of Science in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from NTNU. Årvik came from the position of Development Manager at Momentum Solutions where he has worked since 2017.
Board members - KapitalKontroll:
Jakob Rybak-Andersen has a Master's degree in International Business and began his career at McKinsey & Company in 1997. Recently, Rybak-Andersen has fully stepped into the role of DeepTech Investor after 14 years as a partner at Via Equity. Rybak-Andersen has held several international and Norwegian board positions. Rybak-Andersen became a board member of KapitalKontroll September 2022.
Are Zachariassen became a board member of KapitalKontroll September 2022. Zachariassen is a lawyer and partner at Wikborg Rein where he has been employed since 2000. Are is a recognized business lawyer with international experience and broad board experience.
